SKILL
Passing and working of the ball.

SETUP
Several small grids and designate them different countries.

HOW TO
Have the kids dribble the ball to the different countries the coach calls out. Do something silly relating to that country while visiting.

SKILL
Shooting Drill.

SETUP
Divide team in two groups. All of the balls with the coach in the center.

HOW TO
Coach yells “go” and passes a ball towards the goal. A player from red and black must sprint from the outside cone to the inside cone and then go straight towards the ball shooting it first time. Players then go back to designated team and the next ball is played out from the coach.

ALTERATIONS
For younger kids make the distance they run shorter and allow more touches.

SKILL
Aggression to the ball.

SETUP
15 x 25 yard box. Players split into 3 teams. Balls in the corner with the coach and the 3 teams in the other corners. Small goal on both sides.

HOW TO
Coach plays a ball into the center and yells “go”. The first player from each corner attacks the ball and tries to shoot it in the goal on either side. The players that do not reach the ball first play defense.

SKILL
Protecting the ball and aggression.

SETUP
4 cones. Players are split into 2 teams lining up a the end cones which are 10 yards apart. Coach stand on the side with all the balls.

HOW TO
On go the coach plays a ball into the center. The first player from each line enters and tries to win possession of the ball and dribble it to a cone and stop it close to that cone. Point system is 1 point – cone player came from, 2 points – side cones and 3 points – cone opposing team came from. Play to 12 points.

SKILL
Passing and working of the ball.

SETUP
30 x 25 yard field with 5 yard end zones.

HOW TO
2 teams. Players must connect a certain number of passes inside of main grid before dribbling into designated end zone.
Play first to 5 points.

COACHING POINTS
Heads up, talking, movement of the ball and open passing lanes.

SKILL
Dribbling and light touches.

SETUP
30 x 30 yard grid. 1/4 of the players are the passage ways. The rest have a ball.

HOW TO
The passage players do different variations every time, legs spread wide, push up position, side plank position (sideways pushup using one hand), etc… Players with a ball must dribble inside the grid while lightly touching the ball through the passage and running around the passage to receive the ball on the other side. Switch passage players every minute.
